These pictures of herpes are more classic text book
photos. Many herpes (HSV) infections may not resemble exactly
what you see in these photos. Herpes can look like a simple red rash
without blisters. It usually itches and can be painful. First
time herpes outbreaks are usually the worst. If you don't get tested
for HSV I & II, and it goes away how do you know you had herpes ?
It comes back in the same exact place. Herpes hibernates in
nerves and comes out in the same area of the skin that the nerve supplies.
